The Hearing Care Specialist position helps the Hearing Care Practitioner in the office manage the the patients by helping them with their hearing aids, checking the hearing aids to see if they are working properly, are their hearing aids synced up to their phones, are they clean, do they need to be reprogramed, and any other tasks to ensure the patients hearing aids are functioning properly. This is a licensed position so, Beltone will help in preparing you to be licensed if you do not already have one. 


Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $20.20 an hour


Shift:

  • 8-hour shift from 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Monday to Friday

Location:

 You will be traveling between two offices to assist the HCP. The schedule will alternate between working one day in the Mathews NC office and the next day in the Munroe, NC office. Each week, this will result in spending two days in one location and three days in the other. 



Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Hearing Care Practitioner with the patients after care.
  • Assessing patients for possible hearing issues and related disorders.
  • Administering hearing evaluations, tests, or examinations to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairment.
  • Will fit hearing aids and provide auditory rehabilitation to all in need.
  • Act as an ambassador in the community via outreach programs.
  • Use Speech Mapping for Real -Ear measurement.
  • Obtain ear mold impressions when needed.
  • Establish professional customer/employee/vendor relationships with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Counsel patients during and after the evaluation process.
  • Meet the clinics monthly financial goals.
  • Conducts prospecting.
  • Insure conformance to vision, mission and values of the organization.

Requirements

In this position you will need to become licensed with in a year.

Technical experience is helpful and preferred for training.
