About the Role

Job Description:

  • Greet members and guests promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile to create a friendly positive entrance into the gym.
  • Provide security and control to the front door area of the facility.
  • Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts.
  • Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.
  • Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee/department in a prompt, professional manner.
  • Answer phone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.
  • Distribute keys, towels and other materials as needed
  • Process retail and concession sales.
  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of basic cash processing procedures
  • Functional computer skills
  • Implement Systems
  • Scheduling 
  • Maintaing spreadsheets wtih accuracy
  • Maintaining the front desk
  • Ensuring staff is following company policies and procedures
  • Leading the front desk with confidence

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of basic cash processing procedures
  • Functional computer skills
  • Knowledge of microsoft word and excel
