This team is responsible for building and operating the integrations that power the Identity Trust Graph — acquiring, normalizing, and refreshing identity attributes from authoritative and commercial sources.</p> <p>You will lead engineers skilled in <strong>screen scraping, API integrations, and data pipelines</strong>, ensuring that ID.me delivers reliable, real-time validation of identity attributes at internet scale.</p> <p>You’ll partner with Product Managers from the Persons and Organizations teams to translate validation contracts into prioritized integration work, and ensure that our attribute validation layer meets strict SLAs for reliability, freshness, and compliance.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Deliver Integrations:</strong> Build and maintain connectors to government registries, telcos, licensing authorities, and commercial data providers.</li> <li><strong>Normalization:</strong> Standardize and reconcile heterogeneous data formats into clean schemas usable by the Identity Trust Graph.</li> <li><strong>Reliability:</strong> Monitor, detect, and resolve upstream source changes rapidly; implement retries, fallbacks, and error handling.</li> <li><strong>Power the AVS:</strong> Add trusted data to the runtime service that validates data in the trust graph by comparing it to sources of record.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Translate product contracts (from Persons/Orgs teams) into execution.</li> <li>Provide fraud signals and validation events to downstream consumers (Wallet, Fraud, Domains).</li> <li>Report coverage/freshness metrics to Product Ops &amp; Analytics.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Compliance &amp; Privacy:</strong> Ensure sensitive data is handled in line with NIST, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP standards.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of engineering experience, 2+ years as a tech lead.</li> <li>3+ years of experience in <strong>data acquisition/integrations</strong> (APIs, screen scraping, ETL, normalization).</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Proven ability to operate high-reliability data pipelines with strict SLAs.</li> <li>Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).</li> <li>Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and incident response best practices.</li> <li>Knowledge of compliance and security requirements for sensitive data.</li> <li>Bonus: Experience at a FinTech, identity, or data aggregation company (Plaid, Yodlee, Envestnet, etc.).</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>Key Success Metrics</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Attribute coverage and freshness SLA attainment.</li> <li>Connector uptime and reliability.</li> <li>Validation latency and success rates.</li> <li>MTTR (mean time to resolution) for broken integrations.</li> <li>Cost efficiency per validation event.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Join ID.me?</strong></h3> <p>This team is the backbone of our Identity Trust Graph.
