We are looking for a JIRA Expert to support our R&D, Product, DevOps and support teams by optimizing our use with the system.

Responsibilities

• Act as the company’s Jira Data Center Administrator, owning the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Jira Data Center platform.
• Administer and configure JIRA and Confluence Software to support Agile delivery across multiple development teams.
• Design and maintain workflows, custom fields, screens, and automation rules to optimize productivity.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into JIRA configurations.
• Manage integrations between JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track sprint progress, KPIs, and release metrics.
• Maintain system security, roles, and permissions in alignment with organizational policies.
• Support end users and provide training to ensure consistent and efficient tool usage.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a JIRA Administrator on on-prem environments (Jira data center).
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Proven experience designing and maintaining complex JIRA projects and workflows.
• Experience working with MySQL databases
• Experience with JIRA integrations for CI/CD, DevOps, or test management tools - an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge in Groovy or other scripting languages - advantage.
