DFR TECHNICIAN

About your role: This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that include disassemble of vehicles before repair and reassemble of vehicles after repair. They are responsible for providing fast, accurate, high-quality, efficient assemble. This position is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Disassemble assigned vehicles for discovery by blueprinters.
  • Assists blueprinters in review of disassembled vehicles during discovery.
  • Reassemble assigned vehicles after repair/paint has been completed.
  • Assists technicians and parts team in running parts to & from parts area/stalls.
  • Assists in making minor repairs to vehicles as needed.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager.
  • Assist in vehicle prep for bodywork and/or prepped for the customer once the job is completed as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have the necessary education and experience?

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Auto Body Vo-Tech certified preferred
  • ASE certification desirable
  •  3 years automotive body technician experience required.
  • Must have have tools. 

What are the work hours? 

  • Regular work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs.
  • The position is 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with evening and weekends as needed to satisfy the requirements of the position.
