We are seeking a professional and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that each customer has a positive experience when reaching out to our agency. You will respond promptly to inquiries, maintain accurate records, and generally provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and familiar with insurance products.

Responsibilities
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email and in person with professionalism and care.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products.
  • Proactively assist customers to prevent cancellations and retain their business.
  • Resolve issues efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide accurate information on insurance products, policies, and services.
  • Document customer interactions and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solve complex issues and deliver seamless service.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of phone-based customer service experience
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building lasting relationships
  • Background in an insurance environment preferred
  • Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain one within the first 4 months of employment
Compensation: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour
