About the Role

Cath Lab In‑Service Specialist – Tampa Bay Area

Location: Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, FL
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Part-Time | PRN | Flexible (self-managed)
Pay: $50–$75/hour + mileage reimbursement 

Overview
A leading medical device organization is seeking skilled professionals with Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience to deliver in-servicing and procedural education for vascular access devices in the Tampa Bay Area. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for those who enjoy autonomy and hands-on procedural support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site in-service training and support for vascular access products

  • Deliver device demonstrations and education to clinical teams

  • Support new facility rollout and initial device adoption

  • Act as clinical liaison for procedural staff within your territory

  • Document training activities and share clinical insights

Requirements
Required:

  • Background in Cath Lab, IR, or vascular access procedures

  • Valid certification/licensure: RN, RCIS, RT(R), CVT, or equivalent

  • Strong communication and teaching skills

  • Reliable transportation for travel within the region

  • Ability to manage your own local schedule

Preferred:

  • Experience in clinical education or device support

  • Familiarity with DVT, PE, or catheter-directed thrombolysis
