Maintains and inventories ink pots for production
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Breaks down, washes, and rebuilds ink pots for all presses. Replaces seals and blades as needed.
- Tracks progress of ink pot maintenance by completing daily worksheets
- Lifts 20 pound ink pots frequently during the work day
- Cleans and maintains all common area CTU’s monthly
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent. May include specialized classes beyond high school.
- Has proficient understanding of principles in one or more functions. Typically possesses 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to read, interpret and create simple correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Good verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
- Regular exposure to manufacturing environment with one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions including but not limited to exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels, chemicals, etc. More than 50% of the work time
- Incumbent constantly required to walk, stand, grasp, reach, push/pull, bend, stoop, twisting and use manual dexterity for prolonged periods of time.
- Incumbent regularly required to hear, speak, and use color vision.
- Incumbent regularly required to carry and lift up to 20 lbs
