About the Role
Your role
- Provide support in business development in China’s communications and retail sectors, including market research and feasibility studies
- Develop and execute strategies for merchant management and stakeholder coordination
- Assist to formulate go-to-market strategies with implementation and project roadmap
- Work closely with internal teams, to keep operations running smoothly. Build strong connections across departments to deliver top-notch customer experiences
- Work closely with government authorities, diversify stakeholders on plans implementation
To succeed in this role
- Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Project Management, E-Commerce, Marketing or other related discipline
- 3-4 years working experience in business development and merchant management will be an advantage
- Experience engaging with cross-functional teams in China will be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills to motivate and influence stakeholders
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage
- Willing to relocate travel frequently within the Greater Bay Area
