About the role:

As the Network Capital Delivery Manager you will support the centralised execution of design, engineering, project governance and stakeholder relations for the execution of GNE Capital Delivery Program across AU & NZ in accordance with GrainCorp Capital Policy.

 

In this role you will also:

  • Provide guidance to the team of project professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Provide capital planning support across GNE (AU & NZ) with the preparation and development of 5–10-year capital expenditure programs and alliance with GrainCorp’s overall strategy
  • Ensure the centralised and best practice management of engineering standards
  • End to end project management, technical engineering support and contractor management of all aspects in the delivery of Capital across the GNE business unit (AU & NZ)

 

Our successful candidate will have the following:

  • 7-10 years’ minimum within a project engineering team delivering on large capital projects (background in the foods industry, agriculture, or animal nutrition preferred) 
  • Thorough understanding and ability to apply such knowledge of all statutory and legal requirements relating to design, safety and environmental compliance
  • The ability to travel weekly to other locations across Australia and occasionally New Zealand
  • Experience with leading and managing in a 24hr environment
  • Proven experience working in an operational and maintenance environment within manufacturing
  • Familiar with Production planning processes
  • Food manufacturing experience (Fats and Oils or similar industry experience)
  • Computer skills Microsoft Office, Automation systems experience, SAP or similar
  • Experience with implementation of Continuous Improvement/Lean methodologies
