We are seeking a mission-focused Information Security Engineer to support a State level cybersecurity program. In this role, you will be part of a team providing cyber assessments based on NIST CSF 2.0 compliance reporting.  

Job Description

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments to determine an organization’s cybersecurity maturity
• Analyze and define security requirements for information protection
• Define and develop security policies IAW best practices and NIST guidelines
• Analyze the sensitivity of information and perform vulnerability/risk assessments on the basis of defined sensitivity and information flow
• Participate in security assessments of designated organizations 
• Present findings and recommendations to improve the overall security posture of the organization

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years experience defining security programs or processes for the protection of sensitive or classified information 
• BS Degree in a technical field
• Proficient in generally accepted IT standards, statements, and practices, as well as IT security and control practices
• Knowledgeable in NIST CSF 2.0 documentation and its application
• Must be able to travel to various locations within the state of Maryland as needed.

At Foxhole Technology, we are committed to pay transparency as required by law, for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $125,000-$135,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors as permitted by law.
