Van Driver

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent service. As a Van Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to our valued customers – helping keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 48 hours per week, on an ‘4 on 3 off’ pattern, with start times between 04:00 and 05:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Performing multi-drop deliveries to various locations
• Loading and unloading products and stock from vehicles at delivery points
• Assisting in verifying that all items are matched with the proof of delivery (POD) and obtaining delivery signatures from customers
• Handling waste removal from customer premises
• Engaging with customers in person and internally via telephone
• Monitor the vehicle for any defects or signs of wear and tear and promptly report any issues

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with Cat B entitlement
• Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
