Employer pays 85% of employee’s premium.</li> <li>401k contribution opportunity with an annual company match.</li> <li>Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).</li> <li>Paid vacation starting at three weeks and increasing with tenure.</li> <li>14 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of your choice.</li> <li>Comprehensive training programs and development opportunities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is required.</li> <li>10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably within real estate development, investment management, or fund administration.</li> <li>Advanced understanding of GAAP, consolidation accounting, and fund-level financial reporting.</li> <li>Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to senior leadership.</li> <li>Strong understanding of institutional investor and lender requirements, including audit, compliance, and financial covenant reporting.</li> <li>Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Intacct, or Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required.</li> <li>Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred.</li> <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and high attention to detail.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience leading ERP implementations or system upgrades.</li> <li>Knowledge of real estate tax accounting, cost segregation, and partnership structures.</li> <li>Strong understanding of fund waterfalls, investor reporting, and promote structures.</li> <li>Proven success in improving accounting processes, efficiency, and data transparency.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple company departments.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead corporate and fund accounting across multi-entity real estate structures.</li> <li>Ensure GAAP compliance and integrity of all financial data and statements.</li> <li>Own monthly/quarterly/annual close; drive timely, accurate consolidations and eliminations.</li> <li>Prepare consolidated financials for all entities and affiliated ventures.</li> <li>Analyze revenue, costs, overhead, and margins; deliver insights to improve profitability.</li> <li>Maintain chart of accounts architecture enabling entity and consolidated reporting.</li> <li>Partner with leadership on annual budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans.</li> <li>Provide variance analysis and commentary versus budget/forecast.</li> <li>Model scenarios for new initiatives, developments, and capital allocation.</li> <li>Monitor company and project-level cash flow and liquidity needs.</li> <li>Oversee fund accounting: capital calls, distributions, allocations, promote/waterfalls.</li> <li>Produce investor/lender reporting packages and handle financial inquiries.</li> <li>Coordinate external audits, reviews, and third-party administrator/lender requests.</li> <li>Manage treasury: banking relationships, cash forecasting, intercompany funding.</li> <li>Ensure debt covenant compliance and accurate financing reporting.</li> <li>Design and enforce internal controls, approval hierarchies, and segregation of duties.</li> <li>Oversee tax compliance and coordinate filings with external advisors.</li> <li>Improve systems (e.g., Intacct/Yardi), integrations, automation, and data integrity.</li> <li>Build, mentor, and structure high-performing corporate/property/fund accounting teams.</li> <li>Serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, translating analyses into actionable decisions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Our Mission &amp; Culture</strong></p> <p>At American Capital Group, “Our mission is to be an innovator and leader in multifamily housing solutions.” To fulfill this mission, we prioritize respect, collaboration, integrity, and transparency.
