AI is changing rapidly the business landscape, and we need Product Managers who can live in the future and bring back clarity to the present to accelerate Microsoft and our Partner outcomes. The Principal Product Manager in this position will lead our Earnings Experience and Insights teams for our Cloud Service Providers to deliver customer-centered AI-powered experience, delivering revenue, earnings, and insights with leading performance indicators through Microsoft’s Partner Center and directly to where our Partners need it.
As a Principal Product Manager, you will get to define the strategy and roadmap, run execution, develop relationships with key Partners, monitor their success, and streamline end to end experiences. You will own the design and delivery of capabilities across cloud instances that enable our Partners at scale and will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partners to build full stack applications using AI and the latest web technologies in a dynamic and agile environment.

Design critical insights for Partners: Deliver next-generation insights on incentives, credits, and new cloud offers through AI-driven, real-time experiences.
Reimagine commercial Partner Experience: Redefine engagement across lifecycle events—from onboarding to renewal—with personalized, data-driven solutions.
Build AI-Assisted products & experiences: Lead design and innovation leveraging AI to simplify workflows, unlock new value, and experiment to enhance personal, team, and product impact.

Maximize opportunities for Partners & Microsoft: Advocate for partner needs while aligning with Microsoft’s strategic priorities for measurable impact.
Collaborate and influence a diverse set of stakeholder groups: Drive alignment across Engineering, Marketing, Business Planning, Support, and Sales using data-driven storytelling.
Evangelize the product and platform offerings to partners/customers and contribute to various marketing initiatives like blogs, documentation, videos, testimonials, representing in codesign sessions, technical summits, workshops and events.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Deep knowledge of data models, workflows, and agentic capabilities.
- Prior full stack experience - experience owning/driving a product that has both front-end and back-end elements.
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems and cloud commerce monetization strategies.
- Expertise in applying AI technologies to product experiences.
- Customer-facing experience. Demonstrated ability to engage with enterprise customers or partners – for example, gathering requirements, delivering presentations or workshops, or driving pilot programs. A passion for helping customers succeed with new technologies is highly valued.
- Innovation mindset and continuous learning. Genuine enthusiasm for staying current with the latest advancements in AI/ML (e.g. generative AI, LLMs, etc.) and ability to apply new ideas to product strategy.
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
