The mental health residential manager oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operation of a residential program for 8 adults with serious mental illness. The position is responsible for leading a team and implementing the service model per DHS grant and CARF accreditation standards along with meeting agency expectations for quality. External case management teams help to support clients; the Manager is responsible for collaboration and continuity of care with these treatment teams. A strong mental health focus and leadership skills are required to do the work in stabilizing and then transitioning residents to independent living. Expectations are for the manager to meet program objectives through supervision of a team of 5 -7 staff. | |||
