About the Role

We are looking for a Elementary School Physical Education PE Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from the upcoming 2026–27 academic year in August, 2026.

Located in a modern, high-tech district of southwest Chengdu, this spacious and well-equipped campus offers both international and bilingual curricula, serving students from Pre-K through Grade 11, with plans to expand to Grade 12. The area is known for its green spaces, easy access to the airport, and proximity to Chengdu’s rich cultural and culinary heritage, providing a vibrant and dynamic environment for both students and staff.

Job responsibilities

Teach the subject of PE to elementary school students utilizing an American international curriculum and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Bachelor’s degree in your subject area
Strong communication skills
Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom

Monthly salary of 30,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
