Assistant Controller, Revenues

In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with various levels of the organization and play a major role in defining our revenues accounting, revenue policy and compliance, as well as taking part and leading processes related to accounting, business and process automation.</p> <p>This position is based at our office in <strong>Netanya</strong>.</p> <p><strong>As a Revenues Assistant Controller at JFrog, you will…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with month-end closing processes, including monthly revenue recognition and commission capitalization in compliance with ASC 606, monthly revenue analytics and deferred revenue account reconciliations</li> <li>Serve as one of the finance organization's revenue accounting subject matter experts</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Sales Operations&nbsp; AR, IS, Legal, to&nbsp; support the ongoing business needs around revenue recognition and ARR</li> <li>Proactively identify areas for process improvement and partner with other departments to streamline the processes related to revenue and create best practices and controls across the organization</li> <li>Review contracts in order to apply the appropriate revenue recognition method and ARR in accordance with relevant accounting literature and the Company's revenue recognition policy</li> <li>Assist with updating the company's revenue recognition policy on a yearly basis, and at other times as well if needed</li> <li>Work closely with the company's SOX team and external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored, and prepare schedules and reports for the annual audit, ensuring that all revenue deliverables are met</li> <li>Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed, both revenue and business-related</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>To be Assistant Controller, Revenues at JFrog you need…</strong></p> <ul> <li>CPA with Big 4 experience (preferably SaaS companies' Audit or Professional department).&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in the tech industry (especially in the revenue team) is an advantage</li> <li>Working knowledge and experience with ASC 606 is an advantage</li> <li>Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem solving</li> <li>Working knowledge and approach to financial systems such as NetSuite, SalesForce and Zuora is a big plus</li> <li>Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within a company</li> <li>Highly proficient in Excel</li> <li>BI Dashboard building capabilities (Tableau) is a big plus</li> </ul> <p><br><br></p>
