About the Role

Job Summary

    The Edutainer (Audio/Visual) is responsible for the educational content through audio and visual mediums to engage and educate audiences. They are responsible for creating, developing, and delivering educational content in an entertaining and engaging manner, using audiovisual aids such as videos, presentations, animations, and interactive displays. Edutainers may work in various entertainment settings such as museums, theme parks, science centers, and educational institutions, aiming to inspire curiosity, foster learning, and enhance the overall guest experience. Their role is to make educational content accessible and enjoyable for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Develop and produce educational content, including scripts, videos, presentations, and interactive multimedia experiences.

    Design and deliver engaging audiovisual presentations or performances to convey educational concepts and information.

    Interact with guests or visitors in a lively and engaging manner, encouraging participation and facilitating hands-on learning experiences.

    Operate audiovisual equipment, such as projectors, sound systems, and lighting controls, to ensure effective delivery of educational content.

    Collaborate with educational staff and subject matter experts to develop and implement educational programs and events.

    Monitor audience engagement and comprehension during presentations, adjusting content delivery as needed.

    Maintain and update audiovisual equipment and materials used in educational presentations.

    Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

    Stay informed about advancements in educational technology and incorporate new ideas into educational programs.

    Keep records of educational programs, attendance numbers, and audience feedback for evaluation purposes.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of educational principles, learning theories, and instructional strategies to effectively convey information and facilitate learning experiences.

Proficiency in audiovisual production techniques, including video editing, graphic design, animation, and multimedia development, to create engaging educational content.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage and captivate audiences, convey complex ideas clearly, and facilitate interactive discussions.

Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technologies, such as projectors, microphones, cameras, and editing software, to operate equipment effectively and troubleshoot technical issues.

Ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences, including children, families, students, and educators, and build rapport to create a positive learning environment.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 3 year(s) working experience, 2 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
