We are currently looking for an experienced Agronomy Tech Lead . The position is located in our Tel Aviv office.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the agronomy domain expert for the TLV development site, working closely with Product, R&D, and the CTO to support both existing and future products.
  • Develop deep expertise in the target market, focusing primarily on corn and soy, including grower practices, pain points, production systems, and emerging opportunities.
  • Be actively involved in the research and development of new agronomy and AI-driven products that create meaningful value for customers.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support quality and QC processes with the Ag Data Analysis team, validating datasets, detections, and model outputs.
  • Contribute to AI model training and evaluation (CV and LLMs), including annotation, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Produce core agronomic materials, including protocols, best practices, QA documentation, and training resources.
  • Support onboarding and knowledge transfer to maintain consistent agronomic standards across teams.
  • Translate grower and field needs into clear product requirements to strengthen product–market alignment.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and CS teams, meet with customers, and synthesize field feedback to guide product direction.
  • Lead cross-functional agronomy initiatives, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support global agronomy efforts across markets and crops as needed.



Requirements

Critical

  • Experience with international corn and soy markets, including production systems and major agronomic challenges (experience gained in an Ag-Tech company is fully applicable).
  • High proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Ability to travel overseas to meet with Commercial teams and customers.
  • Academic degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Crop Protection, or a related field (M.Sc. an advantage).

Technical & Domain Skills

  • Background in precision agriculture, remote sensing, or digital agronomy platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate, prioritize, and solve complex agronomic or technical issues.
  • Experience building dashboards and working with SQL for data extraction, validation, or performance monitoring.
  • Experience with language models or image recognition technologies (annotation, evaluation, model training)- strong advantage.

Cross-functional & Leadership Skills

  • Project management skills: planning, prioritization, workflow ownership, stakeholder communication.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, and support new team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional environment.
