About the Role

BUS SECURITY OFFICER - DARWIN, NT

ABOUT THE ROLE:
•    Location: Darwin, Northern Territory
•    Casual Role
•    Potential earnings up to $100 000 (*Potential earnings up to  $100 000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors)
 
Wilson Security is expanding in the Northern Territory securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of The Northern Territory.  This growth has created new roles within our Northern Territory Team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a response role with a reputable organisation on a casual basis in the Darwin Bus Security Portfolio.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Extensive experience within the Security Services industry
•    Exceptional interpersonal skills
•    Be flexible to work across a rotating roster, 7-day week, 365 days a year (24/7, day and night shifts)
•    A non-judgmental, empathetic approach to Customers
•    Previous experience in similar role (preferred but not essential)
•    Highly safety and security focused, with the ability to think on the go
•    A strong Customer Service focus
•    Observe and monitor individual's behaviour
•    Ability to manage challenging situations in a positive way
•    Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner
•    Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
•    Exceptional reporting skills
•    A high level of personal presentation and conduct
•    The ability to work in a team
•    The ability to comply with all policies and procedures 
 
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
•    Experienced guards with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
•    Current and valid NT Security licence
•    Current and valid NT Driver's licence
•    Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
•    Basic Worksite Traffic Management and/or Traffic Controller Certification (Desirable)
•    Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
•    Excellent and proven Computer and Administration Skills
•    Excellent Customer Service Skills
•    Professional Personal Presentation
•    Proven experience in Conflict Resolution
•    Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
•    Commitment to work day and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts
