About the Role
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | Florida

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive Florida school district for the current school year. This full-time, school-based position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students improve communication skills that support academic success and social engagement.

As a member of the school’s exceptional student education (ESE) team, the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs. The SLP will conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to promote student progress.

Position Overview:
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and write clear, compliant reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Consult with families and educators to support skill carryover beyond therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom.
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication.

Requirements

  • Valid Florida Department of Health SLP License or eligibility for licensure.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education procedures.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
