Job Description

As the Sales Manager for Hyderabad, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability within your assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence in the Construction and Building industry. You will work independently to achieve sales, product, and margin targets, while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize market potential.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across the construction and building segments.
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term, profitable customer relationships through effective account management and consultative selling.
  • Conduct customer visits, site meetings, and product presentations to demonstrate value and differentiate offerings.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals in line with company policies and margin expectations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Monitor payment collections and work with the finance team to ensure timely clearance of customer dues.
  • Provide market insights, competitor intelligence, and feedback to management for business development and product positioning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of solid sales experience in the construction supply industry.
  • Proven experience in sales to mid- and low-rise residential or commercial construction segments.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing sales of premium products.
  • Strong network of customers, channel partners, and distributors in the construction industry.
  • Sound understanding of the Indian construction market and on-site operations.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Familiarity with the rental or formwork business in the construction industry.
