About the Role
<p><strong>Indian Head Chef – Our Client</strong><br>📍 <strong>Location:</strong> Eastcote, London<br>💼 <strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p><p><strong>Salary - £35-45k </strong><br><br></p><h3><strong>About Our Client</strong></h3><p>Opening in <strong>May 2026</strong>, our client is an exciting new restaurant and cocktail bar in <strong>Eastcote, London</strong>, bringing together authentic Indian flavours, innovative drinks, and a vibrant social atmosphere.</p><p>Their vision is to create a <strong>modern, stylish venue</strong> where guests can enjoy delicious Indian food, expertly crafted cocktails, and great music — all under one roof. With a dedicated cocktail bar, resident DJ, and regular events and private parties, this new venue will offer a dynamic experience that celebrates both exceptional cuisine and lively nightlife.</p><p>Our client is now seeking a <strong>passionate and experienced Indian Head Chef</strong> to lead the kitchen team and help establish this new venture as one of <strong>West London’s must-visit destinations</strong>.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Design and deliver a modern Indian menu that combines authentic flavours with creative presentation.</li><li>Manage, train, and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes and smooth service.</li><li>Collaborate with management and bar teams to create cohesive food and cocktail pairings, as well as special event menus.</li><li>Ensure every dish meets the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and portion consistency.</li><li>Oversee daily kitchen operations, stock control, supplier relationships, and food cost management.</li><li>Maintain full compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP).</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a <strong>Head Chef</strong> or <strong>Senior Sous Chef</strong> in an Indian restaurant.</li><li>Deep understanding of regional Indian cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.</li><li>A creative approach to menu design, with excellent attention to presentation and guest appeal.</li><li>Excellent organisational and financial management abilities.</li><li>Recognised culinary qualifications and up-to-date food hygiene certification.</li></ul><h3><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></h3><ul><li>The opportunity to lead the kitchen of a <strong>brand-new, high-profile restaurant and bar</strong>.</li><li><strong>Competitive salary</strong> with performance-based incentives.</li><li><strong>Creative freedom</strong> in menu design and kitchen operations.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment.</li><li><strong>Staff meals, dining discounts, and long-term career growth opportunities.</strong></li></ul>
