Job description

Leading geodetic execution within the company and ensuring the accuracy of all deliverables provided to clients: maps, models, depth data, and 3D products. The role combines in-depth professional analysis, cross-functional collaboration, communication with third-party entities, and the implementation of geodetic methodologies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end geodetic accuracy control

Checking alignment between layers, evaluating GNSS and LiDAR measurement quality, reviewing height and coordinate networks, performing deviation calculations, and deriving conclusions.

• Preparation of investigation documents and accuracy statements

Producing Accuracy Statements and Geodetic Reports for complex projects, including analyzing measurement quality and reviewing work methods.

• Coordination with third-party entities

Ongoing communication with surveying companies, RTK operators, and GNSS networks; receiving and analyzing control data, benchmarks, and conventional surveys.

• Managing and producing geodetic models for clients

Orthophoto, DSM/DTM, 3D models, conduit/trench models, and point clouds; performing coordinate and height system transformations according to client requirements.

• Developing methodologies and SOPs

Continuous improvement of work processes, implementing standards, drawing lessons learned, and building practices to strengthen data and product quality.

• Professional training for teams

Delivering training sessions to field teams, analysts, and engineers on coordinate systems, measurement, height accuracy, and LiDAR.

Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Geodesy, Geomatics, or Geo-Informatics.
  • Professional knowledge: Expertise in coordinate and height systems, EPSG transformations, RTK/VRS, GNSS, raw GNSS analysis, and control networks.
  • Tools proficiency: GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), CAD (AutoCAD/Civil 3D), LiDAR and point-cloud analysis.
  • Experience: Background working with 3D models and terrain data — significant advantage.
  • Languages: High-level Hebrew and English (reading, writing, and presenting technical documents).
  • Personal skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, problem-solving, independent work, and multitasking.

Advantages:

  • Familiarity with ASCE 38 / PAS 128.
  • Work with international surveying companies.
  • Engineering background in infrastructure.
  • Experience with local height systems (ITM/ICS), and QC processes.
