LSS Independent Living Services seeks an individual to join our team who wants to make a difference.

This position may be eligible for a $300 💰 Sign on Bonus

HOURS: Part-time, 5-29 hours, Flexible schedule, all shifts available day, afternoon, evening and weekend hours. 

SALARY: $16-$17 per hour. Dependent on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: A successful candidate will provide exceptional support to young adults with serious mental health needs. This role will teach clients (ages 18-21) life skills that will help them live in the community. In this position you will assist clients with moving in and out of apartments as needed. You will also teach clients daily living skills and transport clients to work or appointments in the community as needed. A qualified applicant will provide direct client care, maintain/model appropriate boundaries, and teach applicable coping and problem-solving skills. Complete reports and documentation as necessary. Additionally, you will be trained as a medication aide and will be responsible for clients’ daily medication administration.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must have a High School Diploma, or GED required.
• Bachelor's or some secondary education preferred.
• Experience working with youth and teens, preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes. 
• Requires a valid driver’s license/auto-insurance or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
