About the Role

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a state-wide provider of skilled trade services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service technicians, as well as providing job order updates to customers and internal departments.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and work effectively under pressure. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.


Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound customer emails and service technician calls
  • Provide informative and proactive customer service
  • Take detailed work order notes and communicate relevant information to others
  • Schedule and coordinate service calls within department guidelines
  • Create work orders and support documentation to complete service requests
  • Monitor technician workflow and job site progress
  • Follow-up with service technicians, service managers and account managers regarding work orders, callbacks and paperwork
  • Monitor and document GPS on service technicians and provide accurate estimated time of arrivals
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the department supervisor

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience
  • Must possess accurate data entry skills with the ability to type 35 WPM with no errors
  • Construction knowledge in plumbing, electrical or construction is desired but not required
