Veterinary Director - Greencross Caloundra

Greencross Vets Caloundra is a friendly, modern clinic on the Sunshine Coast, and we are looking for a Veterinary Associate to join our experienced team of vets and nurses. The clinic has a loyal client base, a varied small animal caseload and a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together.

Caloundra offers an easy lifestyle with plenty to do when you are off the roster. You can spend your time at nearby beaches such as Kings, Shelly, Golden, Moffat or Dicky Beach and enjoy the relaxed feel of a coastal town with all the amenities you would expect from a larger centre.

The clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays and there are no after hours. Our team works closely with nearby Greencross clinics and the wider Greencross network, so you will always feel supported.

You will also have access to Heidi, our AI powered note taking assistant that helps capture histories and clinical notes during consults. It means less time on the computer and more time focusing on your patients, and actually finishing your notes on time.

About the role

This position will suit a veterinarian who is looking for a stable, well supported role with a good mix of medicine and surgery. You will be joining a team that values open communication, shared learning and genuine care for each other and our clients.

You will have time for thorough work ups, space to discuss cases with colleagues and access to a wider veterinary network for support when you need it.

What we are looking for

• A veterinarian with several years of practical experience and a degree that is registrable to work in Australia

• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to providing high standard care to patients and clients

• An interest in ongoing professional development with a willingness to learn and grow

• Curiosity about developing future mentoring or leadership skills if that is something you would like to explore, with support available through our internal programs
