Job Description
Key Activities:
- Mentoring & training the engineers in team & develop them technically.
- Participate in Customer / Stake holders’ technical discussion & resolve TQs.
- Manage & ensure team KPIs in terms of On-time delivery (OTD) and Quality of the outputs.
- Ensure team’s compliance customer standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies, procedures.
- Job management for Pre & Post order supporting other Global functions of Seebach Business.
- Participate in technical as well as commercial discussions with sales offices or customers.
- Keep focus on opportunities of improvements through SES tool to improve KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, VAVE, and other strategic initiatives.
- Completes other assignments as directed. Need to travel as per business need.
- Develop team skills and competences tailored to organization support requirements, identify talents.
- Ensure team’s & self-efficient support to all cross functional teams for business purpose.
Key Accountabilities:
- Mentor & develop junior engineers on product & process.
- Ensure meet the business expectations in terms of On time delivery (OTD) Cost and quality outputs.
- Support Global Cross functional teams on engineering support, process & products.
- Team Building, development, KPI reports & Talent management within team.
- Knowledge of filtration in Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Aerospace, Refinery and Turbomachinery.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures (Smiths values and Leadership behaviors).
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and prepare Corrective Actions using SES problem solving tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain good rapport with cross functional teams to meet their business requirements.
- Should actively contribute to Continuous Improvements in their day-to-day work.
- Team Building, periodic KPI reports, talent management.
- To maintain designated records in-line with process requirement
- Support Global Engineering strategic initiatives as required

- Bachelor's in Engineering.
- 10 + years of experience with minimum 3 years in team management.
