As part of Microsoft 365 Engineering, the FastTrack team plays a critical role in this vision – helping customers unlock business value and achieve success through Microsoft 365, AI-driven innovation, and robust security technologies.

Overview:

The FastTrack team is seeking a FastTrack Architect (FTA) passionate about accelerating AI adoption and strengthening Microsoft 365 through advanced AI and security solutions. In this role, you will help top enterprise customers deploy and implement innovative strategies that leverage AI and secure cloud technologies to address complex business challenges. You will work closely with Microsoft field sales and delivery teams to deliver transformative outcomes for our customers and continuously enhance our products



Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage with Microsoft’s most complex and strategic customers to accelerate their adoption of AI and security within Microsoft 365. Your role is to:

  • Capture customer intent
  • Translate it into actionable deployment plans
  • Deliver secure, AI-driven solutions that maximise business value while mitigating risk
  • Ensure rapid deployment and adoption of Microsoft 365 services to achieve the highest return on investment for the customer
  • This position requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership. You will engage directly with customer stakeholders at all levels, providing guidance on AI and security strategies
  • Collaborate with account teams, partners, and subject matter experts to drive successful outcomes
  • You will educate customers at a technical level, demonstrating and proving the value of Microsoft’s AI and security capabilities
  • Continuously develop your knowledge across Microsoft and competitive cloud technologies


Qualifications

Overview:

  • This role requires proven capabilities to define and execute strategies that accelerate customer deployment, adoption, renewal, and expansion of Microsoft 365 with a strong focus on AI and security solutions, including Copilot and Microsoft 365 E5 Security
  • The successful candidate will engage directly with senior technical and business leaders to understand their needs, translate them into actionable plans, and deliver secure, AI-driven solutions that maximise business value and minimise risk
  • You will collaborate with engineers, partners, and Microsoft field teams to map product capabilities to differentiated customer outcomes, ensuring rapid deployment and adoption
  • The role demands expertise in Microsoft 365 deployment, security, and governance best practices, as well as awareness of competitive technologies
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, and communication skills are essential, along with experience in pre-sales, project envisioning, planning, and deployment
  • Additional responsibilities include influencing cross-group collaboration, shaping value propositions and enablement strategies, and presenting customer insights in regional review meetings

Required:

  • Experience with leading peer teams and driving best practice sharing
  • Demonstrate experience driving delivery excellence and ensuring a high standard of Data Quality
  • Proven ability influencing customer decision making through delivery knowledge/value discussions
  • Ability to act as a technical lead for peer architects in their area of expertise providing guidance on customer deliverables and architecture
  • Demonstrate experience leading effective collaboration with sales and product teams to drive customer account growth
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Demonstrate experience leading Microsoft 365 deployment efforts with enterprise level customers
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite at L300 or higher, with strong focus on M365 Copilot, Chat, Extensibility, Threat Protection, Data Security and Windows 365 is required
  • Experience working with customer insights to assist with driving product improvements through collaboration with product engineering teams

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures, as well as certifications in AI and security technologies, is highly desirable
  • Enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
  • Knowledge of how to work with Microsoft Field teams and Partners in landing the Microsoft 365 platform with customers
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a senior technical resource with regular customer interactions
  • Bachelor or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite at L300 or higher, with strong focus on M365 Copilot, Chat, Extensibility, Threat Protection, Data Security and Windows 365 is required
