Job Description
Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Commercial Card Product Manager to support the launch and implementation of a new commercial expense management and reporting platform for a major U.S.-based financial institution. This role will focus on establishing internal readiness, developing process and product documentation, and supporting early client onboarding.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on product manager with strong experience in commercial card products, software integration, file mapping, workflow development, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Details:
- Location: Remote within the United States (must be able to work according to Central Time)
- Duration: Approximately a 6-month consulting role through Blend (must be able to work on Blend’s W2)

What you’ll do:
- Assist in evaluating product requirements and building the product roadmap for the new commercial expense management platform.
- Develop and document internal processes, workflows, templates, and training materials for both staff and business clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on platform capabilities, integrations, and best practices.
- Support creation and management of technical files (e.g., commercial card files, HR data files) required for client onboarding and internal operational workflows.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams—including EPMO, IT, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Client Services—to ensure project alignment and readiness.
- Provide regular status reporting, progress tracking, and cross-functional coordination to support project management activities.
- Assist with early adopter client implementations, ensuring a smooth integration and onboarding experience.
- Support internal communication, training, and go-to-market readiness sessions.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, FAQs, process flows, and reusable implementation materials.
- Work autonomously to drive deliverables, manage timelines, and support end-to-end product readiness.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of commercial product management experience with deep understanding of the commercial payments space.
- 2+ years of experience specifically with commercial card products.
- Experience with expense management or commercial reporting platforms; prior experience with Spend Clarity or similar tools is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of standard operating procedures for commercial card products, program structures, and client onboarding processes.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Hands-on experience with software integration, file mapping, workflow creation, and related implementation activities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong skillset in developing templates, documentation, and training materials.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex projects end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support cross-functional teams and external clients.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communicator and educator, capable of delivering clear guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing deliverables and dependencies.
- A collaborative team player skilled at driving alignment across diverse groups.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and operate with minimal supervision.
Additional Information
The starting pay range for this role is $45-50 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
