What You'll Be Doing: 

Under the supervision of the People & Brand Director, the Brand Supervisor leads district-wide storytelling, brand presence, and social media strategy. This role ensures every department’s story is shared authentically, creatively, and consistently while showing the community who we are, what we offer, and why we matter.

This position also plays a major role in event coordination and execution, representing CVPRD at community events and leading the planning, organization, and delivery of several key district events throughout the year.

• Bring strong time management and the ability to balance multiple creative and event-based projects.
• Have experience capturing candid content and transforming it into compelling stories for social and digital platforms.
• Maintain full oversight of all CVPRD social media platforms, including strategy, engagement, analytics, and trend awareness.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to public comments and messages via social media.
• Develop and implement story-driven content calendars, brand campaigns, and department features.
• Create engaging digital content from photos, video, Reels/TikToks, graphics, and written copy paying close attention to ADA requirements.
• Work with each department to support their goals for program registration, awareness, and community involvement by coordinating marketing needs, timelines, and promotional efforts.

• Assist in writing, designing, and proofing the activities guide, website content, newsletters, flyers, and printed marketing materials.

• Coordinate, plan, and execute District events from start to finish, including logistics, vendor coordination, staffing, equipment needs, and on-site set up and support, while ensuring a polished and consistent brand presence.
• Represent CVPRD at community events by setting up booths, engaging with attendees, promoting programs, gather photos, videos, and stories during events and transform them into digital recaps, social media content, and other creative assets.
• Partner with departments to support special event planning throughout the year and help elevate each event through strong storytelling and branding.
• Work with the People & Brand Director to create, track, and monitor the marketing and branding annual budget.


Required Qualifications:

Candidates over 18 must pass a background check prior to employment. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field 

• Two or more years of marketing, digital media, or event coordination experience preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other creative tools.
• Strong photography and videography skills preferred.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.



Physical Demands, Job Location, Accommodations:

While this role will work primarily in an office setting, special events may require working outdoors in extreme conditions. Loading and unloading of equipment up to 50 pounds, bending, lifting, carrying, moving, of marketing materials and equipment such as tents, chairs, and other promotional materials. This position will frequently use CVPRD fleet vehicles and will need to possess an approved motor vehicle record.
