Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Manager to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the AV Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all audio-visual operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, and managing a team of AV professionals in our state-of-the-art facilities.

  • Lead and manage the audio-visual department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute AV setups for various events, conferences, and productions
  • Develop and maintain AV equipment inventory, ensuring proper maintenance and upgrades
  • Create and manage budgets for AV operations and equipment purchases
  • Collaborate with clients, event planners, and other departments to understand and meet AV requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions
  • Stay current with the latest AV technologies and industry trends, implementing innovations as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide technical expertise and support for complex AV projects
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for AV operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems, equipment, and latest technologies
  • Proven experience in project management and event production
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning
  • Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry preferred
  • Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
  • Willingness to relocate to Phu Quoc, Vietnam
