Job Description

Are you a passionate and driven individual looking to take your leadership skills to the next level? We're seeking an enthusiastic Shift Leader to join our franchise team at GYG Oran Park, Australia. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Provide excellent customer service and efficiently resolve any customer concerns or complaints
  • Train and mentor new team members, supporting their development and integration into the team
  • Monitor and maintain product quality and consistency throughout your shift
  • Assist in implementing new procedures and promotions as directed by management
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets and improving overall restaurant performance
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers
  • Adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Support franchise-specific initiatives and maintain brand standards

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality or quick-service restaurants
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and passion for team success
  • Knowledge of franchise operations and brand standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
