About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior UX & Product Designer to join our Digital experience-uplift team. This pivotal, hands-on role drives a complete UX overhaul, shaping the end-to-end fan and customer experience across all digital products. You will leverage deep UX/UI and product thinking to design intuitive, commercially effective solutions, acting as a strategic partner to product and engineering teams. The role requires ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives (conversion, retention) and fan delight, while also guiding external design agencies to maintain consistency with our digital experience strategy.

What does a day in the life look like?

UX & Product Design

  • Lead end-to-end UX and product design processes, from discovery to delivery.
  • Translate business and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Apply product thinking to ensure designs solve real problems, align with commercial outcomes, and integrate seamlessly with digital platforms.
  • Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and compliance with best practice UX standards.
  • Conduct and apply insights from usability testing, research, and analytics to refine solutions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define requirements and align designs with product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with marketing, data, and CX teams to ensure joined-up fan and commercial experiences across all channels.
  • Act as the internal champion for design quality and user experience excellence.
  • Work with external UX design agency partners — briefing them, reviewing their deliverables, and ensuring their work aligns with organisational goals.

Governance & Design Standards

  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the organisation’s design system.
  • Uphold governance by ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across all design outputs.
  • Act as a mentor and guide for other designers and analysts in the team.

Commercial & Fan Impact

  • Balance commercial goals (e.g., conversion rate, revenue uplift, digital adoption) with fan outcomes (e.g., ease, satisfaction, delight).
  • Design experiences that increase engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.

About You 

  • 7+ years’ experience in UX/Product Design roles, with proven end-to-end design expertise.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality product design work across web and mobile.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
  • Experience guiding or quality-assuring agency deliverables preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce and customer experience in consumer-facing organisations

Desirable

  • Experience with retail, entertainment, or ticketing verticals.
  • Awareness of compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, Australian Privacy Act).
