Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and decisive Account Director Leisure to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the leisure and hospitality sector, driving business development, and implementing strategic initiatives to maximise revenue and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value leisure and hospitality clients in Phu Quoc and the wider region
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand client portfolios
  • Lead a team of account managers, providing mentorship and guidance to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients
  • Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business and retain existing accounts
  • Monitor and analyse account performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms for the organisation
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to provide thought leadership and strategic advice to clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the leisure and hospitality industry, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies in the leisure sector
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities, with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the leisure and hospitality industry, particularly in Vietnam and Southeast Asia
  • Understanding of current travel and tourism trends and their impact on the market
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Southeast Asian languages is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required
