The Windows SWAS Regional Manager is responsible for regional account management and relationships, business strategy, and customer satisfaction measurements. This position will also provide strategic leadership, operational oversight and sales programs for Windows Store District Managers and Specialists to enable our retail field organization to best achieve its revenue goals and enhance customer experiences. The Windows SWAS Regional Manager will be responsible for setting, evangelizing, and landing clear sales and operational strategies for product sales and Microsoft Services within their assigned territory with coordination of these efforts back to the Microsoft headquarters account teams.
This role is Microsoft onsite only with travel from 50-75%.

Responsibilities
People Management
- Manage and monitor field teams to meet deliverables and consistently achieve metric performance standards. Successfully manage and achieve multiple goals across several field marketing disciplines.
- Responsible for the selection, supervision, development and evaluation of Windows Store Specialists. This includes establishing and modeling performance expectations and standards.
- Establish program awareness, team motivation, and accountability that result in performance excellence.
Customer Focus
- Interface with Best Buy partners to ensure program objectives are clearly identified, communicated and delivered.
- Develop and implement leading-edge operational strategies and practices to maximize field contribution and achieve efficiencies.
- Interface with vendor regional and program leaders to ensure consistency of practices and integration of standards to maintain excellence.
- Help identify new trends and contribute to the strategy of new marketing opportunities.
Data Analysis
- Develop and manage field expenses against operational budgets and apply accounting principles to measure and ensure adherence to budget compliance. Maintain focus and accountability for field expense control.
- Develop and deliver qualitative and quantitative reporting (including monthly competitive report content) to contribute to metrics reporting and execution results.
- Responsible for delivering highlights/lowlight summaries including observations, recommendations and Store At-A-Glance results to key stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver presentation content to prove value, results and communicate success.
Coaching and Training
- Contribute to training content and development to ensure readiness of the field team.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 5+ years retail sales experience, AND 3+ years people-management experience, AND 2+ years multi-unit experience.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Management or related field AND 3+ years retail sales experience, AND 2+ years people-management experience, AND 1+ year(s) multi-unit experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years retail sales experience, AND 5+ years people-management experience, AND 5+ years multi-unit experience.
- Excellent relationship building/mentoring skills.
- Strong, proven leadership abilities.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- 90% Regional Travel.
- P&L Management experience.
- Heavy coaching and training direct reports experience.
- Able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours in peak / holiday seasons.
- 5+ years experience with a retailer to include the following:
- Managing a regional, geographically dispersed workforce.
- Managing full-time and part-time employees.
- Developing, tracking, and monitoring performance on a daily/weekly basis.
- Retail sales experience desired.
- Superior writing skills are required.
- Any similar combination of education and experience.
- Program proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strength in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel (must prove and demonstrate capability).
Partner Store Market Management M4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $88,000 - $178,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $110,600 - $190,300 per year.
