NGSG has immediate openings for an INDUSTRIAL PAINTER. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in coatings operations within an industrial environment. Including (not limited to) preparation (pressure wash cleaning, sanding, masking, rolling, etc.) and coatings application (brush, roll, spray) with epoxies and urethanes. Primary duties are the ability to adhere to the
company’s policies, multitask, and conduct coatings operations safely under minimal supervision with maximal efficiency. Secondary duties extend to, not limited to, moderate forklift operation, minimal concrete work, and other tasks as required based on need.
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40–50 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Fridays as needed
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation including pressure washing, sanding, masking, and rolling
- Apply coatings using brush, roll, and spray methods (primarily epoxies and urethanes)
- Adhere to company safety protocols and operational procedures
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency
- Perform additional duties as needed, including:
- Moderate forklift operation
- Minimal concrete work
- General support tasks across the facility
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in industrial painting/coatings
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods (up to
- 10 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms,
- legs, and full body movement (e.g., climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and
- crouching).
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required to safely operate welding
- equipment and hand tools.
- Visual acuity is necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect
- welds for quality and accuracy.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and
- fabrication shop conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including welding
- hood, gloves, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be available for an in-person interview (required)
