About the Role:
Liquidity is seeking a Senior Director to play a key leadership role in the APAC market. You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team, with a particular focus on the Indian and/ or Australian market. In this client-facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage and strengthen client relationships, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Client Sourcing & Deal Generation: Identify and engage prospective clients (companies) to generate a steady pipeline of investment opportunities
- Initial Screening: Conduct preliminary assessments, including calls and meetings with C-suite executives, to evaluate potential clients.
- Coordination & Communication: Act as a key liaison between prospective clients and the investment team, ensuring seamless due diligence and execution of transactions.
- Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Negotiation and closing: Lead the negotiation process with prospective clients up to the closing stage.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience at a top-tier financial institution with a focus on investments: Debt/Credit provider, Venture Capital, Debt Advisory
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing roles: origination, relationship management, sponsors coverage
- Proven track record in sourcing and closing debt/equity transactions
- Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst- Must Have
- Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape
