About the role:
At Repco we want to ensure that each customer has a great experience in store, and as a Retail Assistant with an interest or experience in automotive, your key focus is to deliver expert guidance that helps customers find the right products for their vehicle needs. This starts from the moment the customer walks in the door, through providing knowledgeable advice around our automotive products, upselling where you can, and efficiently processing the sale at the till.
Duties Include:
Always have a safety focus to ensure your safety, and that of your teammates & customers
Provide genuine service & create moments that matter with customers
Use your strong customer service and automotive knowledge to contribute to positive sales performance.
Maintain exceptional showroom presentation & merchandising standards
Process stock; receive, dispatch & store
Be an enthusiastic, cooperative & collaborative Repco team member, and contribute to a positive team culture.
This role will require safe lifting, bending & climbing.
Skills & experience:
This is a very customer focused position, and we are seeking candidates who have a genuine interest in, or experience within, the automotive industry. Previous experience working in automotive retail, parts supply, mechanical workshops, or related fields is highly valued. You must be confident working in a retail or sales environment and dealing with a variety of customers. Your strong communication skills and excellent phone manner will be complemented by your team-focused and ‘can do’ attitude. You’ll naturally be a people person and a passionate customer service expert. Full training will be provided on the products we sell, but having automotive knowledge or enthusiasm is a strong advantage.
