Position Overview:As our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, you play a pivotal role in connecting patients with vital medical services. Your commitment to safety, care, and community will ensure that every individual you transport feels secure, respected, and part of our extended community family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compassionately assist passengers to and from medical facilities using company vehicles.
- Prioritize and ensure the safe, timely transportation of every passenger to their scheduled medical appointment.
- Maintain vehicle to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passenger and reflecting our commitment to community excellence.
- Expertly secure passenger, wheelchairs, and other necessary mobile devices inside the vehicle, and always considering passenger comfort.
- Display sound judgment and decision-making skills, especially concerning passenger safety.
- Engage in effective and emphatic communication with passenger, understating their unique needs and concerns.
- This position requires out of state trips and rotational on call work days.
Requirements
- Demonstrated passion for community service and care.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to handle medical equipment safety and with care.
