This position works very closely with our RN Instructor to ensure student success in the program.
Requirements
The ESOL Instructor provides English instruction to support students with occupational training, certification, workforce preparation, civics, and job placement. The instructor delivers group and individual instruction to adult learners, creates standards-based and rigorous lessons relevant to the needs and goals of students, participates in curriculum and program development, has the ability to adapt teaching styles and materials to meet students’ individual needs, and models lifelong learning to students.
The Career Advisor facilitates the student’s journey from recruitment, intake, and orientation to licensure, job placement and beyond. The advisor also connects learners with various support services, ensuring student retention, achievement, and success. The advisor conducts daily data entry using program databases and maintains students’ confidentiality.
