About the Role
JBS Beef City are currently recruiting for Cold Stores Labourers and Forklift Operators. Positions are full time, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday where available.
Entry level roles start at $25.86/hour (permanent positions - guaranteed 38.75 hours/week) plus a shift allowance for afternoon and night shifts.
About You
We are interested in speaking with applicants that have an interest or experience in a position that involves manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage, warehousing, and forklift operations. This is an entry level position with the opportunity upskill and increase your hourly rate.
- Previous labouring experience not required; all necessary training will be provided
- Forklift ticket desirable
- Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
- Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs
- Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
- Good attendance and hard work will be rewarded with the opportunity to progress through the many career pathways available
- Willingness to receive a Q Fever vaccination

The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in southern hemisphere. Specialising in grain-fed beef production, the plant employs approximately 950 employees with a current processing capacity of 1000 cattle per day and has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers.
