TITLE: Accounts Receivable Clerk
DEPARTMENT: Accounting
REPORTS TO: Controller
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable clerk will apply accounting principles to verify, classify, compute, post, record, and research accounts receivables’ data in order to maintain customer accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Process and distribute mail for company
- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, recording and researching accounts receivables’ data
- Prepare bank deposits
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Supports the AP/AR/Collections/Billing processes as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma; required
- 1+ years’ experience; preferred
Working Conditions
This position will be in an office environment with extended periods of sitting, standing, and using manual dexterity to operate computer-based systems.
