About the Role

Description

We LOVE Pets! Do you? At Pet Pros our goal is to provide healthy products for our four legged companions in a warm, friendly and fun neighborhood setting. We strive to provide the education and knowledge to our team so they can make great recommendations for our guests and their pets. If you love pets, love to learn, and love helping people we want to hear from you!

We seek Team Members who:

  • Are able to thrive in a retail environment
  • Can connect with and engage guests in thoughtful conversations and make recommendations that meet their needs and the needs of their pet
  • Maintain store cleanliness 
  • Learn and maintain inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating and facing of product, cycle counts
  • Participate in merchandising, work on creative display of products
  • Attend store and company meetings (some meetings may be before or after hours)
  • Are comfortable with computers, learning new systems, performing transactions for guests at the point of sale accurately and completely
  • Have accurate cash handling skills, competent with basic math

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds, can bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb a ladder
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Highly accountable and has integrity
  • Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends 
  • Desire to build a career with us!
