Who We’re Looking For

Position Description: The Doorman will be based in the lobby of 8899 Beverly, a luxury high-rise residential community in West Hollywood. This position Serve as the first point of contact for all sales tours and scheduled visitors. The doorman greets arrivals at curbside, directs them into the building, and ensures a seamless, professional experience for prospective buyers. In addition, the role provides supplemental support to front desk, guest services, and overall building operations as needed.


Responsibilities:


Sales Tour & Guest Curbside Experience

  • Greet all arrivals professionally at curbside.
  • Direct guests to the garage entry and coordinate access with the front desk or via remote gate clicker.
  • Provide clear directions to the subterranean valet stand.
  • Communicate with valet regarding incoming vehicles.
  • Confirm guests with front desk or sales staff before granting garage access.

Deliveries & Vendor Coordination 

  • Support the front desk in directing vendors and delivery personnel to appropriate parking, the service elevator, or package drop locations. Help maintain a clear, orderly lobby by managing vendor traffic and minimizing congestion.

Front Desk Coverage 

  • Provide backup coverage at the front desk when staff are away or temporarily unavailable.

Delivery Assistance 

  • Deliver packages, food orders, and items to residences when assistance is required.
  • Help residents and vendors with key fob access to common areas, including lobby restrooms.

Traffic & Safety Oversight 

  • Monitor visibility and safety when vehicles exit the garage, especially when moving trucks or service vehicles obstruct sightlines.
  • Support safe pedestrian and vehicle flow at the curb.

Curbside Management 

  • Keep curbside areas clear of unattended or unauthorized vehicles.
  • Assist residents at the crosswalk when needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean sidewalk entry by discouraging loitering and addressing transient activity around steps and walkways.

Security Presence & Awareness 

  • Provide a consistent, visible presence at the entry to help deter unwanted activity.
  • Maintain awareness of who is entering and exiting the property, supporting the front desk in ensuring only authorized guests proceed.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, loitering, or safety concerns to management or front desk staff.
  • Support basic protocols during alarms, outages, or building disruptions by guiding residents and visitors and keeping entry points clear.

Resident Hospitality 

  • Offer a welcoming, familiar presence who learns residents’ names and supports an elevated sense of community.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of luxury hospitality experience.
  • Commitment to providing five-star customer service in a luxury residential environment.
  • Polished, professional, and friendly demeanor.
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed to maintain luxury-level service coverage.
