The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move products, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining inventory flow. They must also perform daily inspections and adhere to safety regulations.

About the Role
Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Daily inspection of forklifts and check of trailer safety
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move products or supplies
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
- Daily loading and unloading of trailers
- Identify damage and/or quality deficiencies
- Daily store, stage, monitor, and rotate product in racking
- Weekly picking or checking of DSD orders
- Check and confirm the quality of items received by completing all necessary paperwork
- Responsible for maintaining inventory flow
- Perform all warehouse related functions
- Perform other duties as needed
Physical Demands:
- · Incumbent must also be able to stand and move around the work area
- · Forklift operation may involve periods of prolonged sitting.
- · Requires bending, squatting, climbing, reaching to gather and move picked items.
- · Must be able to regularly lift and carry, up to 25lbs
- · Must be able to push/pull pallet jack loaded with material weighing up to 1400lbs.
- · Work take place in a warehouse environment which includes working in, on and around open docks and freezer unit. This position is exposed to extreme temperature variations ranging from 28-35 degree in loading area and 5 to -5 degree in freezer

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Preferred 2-3 years forklift experience (forklift certification)
- 2-3 years warehouse experience
- Experience with RF Scanners, forklifts, and chargers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with information on BOLs and invoices
