The Lead Associate reinforces the Store Manager, ASM and Supervisors in ensuring the store meets its goals and standards in the areas of financial performance, customer satisfaction, and visuals.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p>Customer Service Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Consistently provides Customer Service to company standard and lead team</li> <li>Generates maximum sales potential in accordance with the Perry Ellis customer service standards.</li> <li>Builds repeat customer base through excellent PE Loyalty Program data capture.</li> <li>Maintains strong knowledge regarding product, promotions, and special events in order to communicate to customers more effectively.</li> <li>Consistently foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members in a fair and consistent manner.</li> <li>Effectively maintains floor coverage; acknowledges every customer; treats customers with priority over assigned tasks.</li> <li>Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication.</li> <li>Manages time and prioritizes tasks.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Operational Responsibilities&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>The lead associate will step in when the supervisor/keyholder is not present</li> <li>Keep merchandise filled to appropriate levels on the sales floor.</li> <li>Ensure the store is visually distinctive and appearance impeccably maintained.</li> <li>Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures.</li> <li>Practices excellent customer service at all times in order to prevent possible theft.</li> <li>Demonstrates awareness of store sales plans and results.</li> <li>Follow all operational policies and procedures.</li> <li>Manage time and prioritize tasks.</li> <li>Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;Visual, Brand And Product Management&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Supports execution of all pricing strategies.</li> <li>Supports the execution of store planograms.</li> <li>Supports and&nbsp; understands the company’s brand position.</li> <li>Supports replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor as needed.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Energetic and positive attitude</li> <li>1-2 years of retail experience</li> <li>Flexible availability; reliable transportation</li> <li>Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Customer service-oriented.
