Job Description
Join the Ubisoft Singapore team as a Game Design Intern on Skull & Bones, where you’ll collaborate closely with our gameplay AI and 3Cs (Character, Controls, Camera) designers. You’ll help bring life and variety to enemy and NPC behaviors while ensuring smooth and comfortable player controls in our core systems.
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE
- Support the improvement of Character, Controls, and Camera (3Cs), ensuring that player interactions feel fluid and satisfying.
- Adjust and balance equipment, skills, and effects to maintain fair and engaging gameplay.
- Assist in implementing and refining gameplay AI behaviors to enhance gameplay variety and challenge, using visual scripting and internal tools.
- Work with designers to prototype new gameplay behaviors, especially for multiplayer contexts.
- Test and provide feedback on AI performance and gameplay feel, pushing for polish and quality.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING
- Able to commit to a full-time 6-months internship starting in Jan 2026.
- Familiarity with C# scripting and visual scripting tools (e.g., Blueprints, Node-based editors).
- Understanding of AI behavior design and gameplay challenges in multiplayer games.
- Familiarity with data configuration or content implementation in a custom or commercial game engine.
- Interest in player experience and core gameplay feel (controls, camera, navigation).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and iterate based on feedback.
- Passion for games and game development.
- Enthusiasm for action titles, with a willingness to learn internal tools.
- Ability to confidently present and pitch design ideas.
- Ability to adapt and manage change.
- Singaporeans and Singapore PRs only.
