Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bell person to join our team at a prestigious hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Bell person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.
- Welcome guests and assist with their luggage upon arrival and departure
- Provide timely and organised luggage delivery service to guest rooms
- Orient guests on room facilities to enhance their comfort and experience
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Collaborate with the doorman and front desk staff to ensure smooth arrivals and departures
- Maintain a presence in the lobby area to offer assistance to guests as needed
- Assist with group luggage logistics for conferences and events
- Perform manual wake-up calls for guests during night shifts when required
- Ensure timely delivery of amenities to guest rooms
- Maintain a clean and organised lobby and luggage storage area
- Adhere to the hotel's grooming standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum Secondary Education
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced situations
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in a second language is desirable
- Previous experience in hospitality is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided
