Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Holiday Assistant Planner Supervisor to join our organisation in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a team of holiday planning assistants to create unforgettable experiences for our discerning clientele.

  • Oversee and manage a team of holiday planning assistants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Develop and implement innovative holiday packages and experiences tailored to client preferences and budgets
  • Collaborate with local vendors, attractions, and service providers to curate unique and exclusive offerings
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the planning and execution process
  • Manage budgets and financial aspects of holiday planning operations
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve our holiday planning services
  • Resolve complex customer issues and handle high-profile client requests
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the tourism industry
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality holiday experiences
  • Stay informed about local events, attractions, and cultural activities in Phu Quoc and surrounding areas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in holiday planning, event management, or a similar role within the hospitality or tourism industry
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Proficiency in event planning software and tools
  • In-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese tourism industry, particularly in Phu Quoc and surrounding areas
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning for holiday packages and events
  • Strong customer service orientation with a track record of delivering high-quality experiences
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable
